The hostel is clean and comfortable. Great kitchen, amazing staff. Both mozaffar and jaloliddin are super helpful and very nice hosts. The kitchen is great. Laundry system is pretty good. Location of the hostel is quite convenient, close to the university boulevard and connected by most major bus routes.
I had a beautiful time at Aslan. If I'm ever back in Samarkand, I know where to stay! :)

Perhaps one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in... the owner was super kind and did his best to support all kind of requests - even checked in with me to arrange check-in! The room was immaculate - as well as other areas of the house, new and modern. Lighting was perfect for both the room and the bunk bed itself - spacious bed + 2 different light settings + 1 wireless charger for phone + 1 type C output ready for your use. They even provided 2 complimentary towels and a pair of slippers. The bathrooms were a little bit small, - but I'm quite tall at 185cm, but it was nice overall to move and shower comfortably. Also, their dining area had all kind of utensils you need and they got nice ceramics that I loved haha. This space was not too big with 3 tables for 2 so if you're travelling in big group you might want to arrange in advance.
To be honest I love my experience here so much :) would love to come back next time I'm in Samarkand!
