A new guesthouse that's comfortable, good breakfast, air conditioning. They helped me do washing for free and I was able to check in early.
Unfortunately, the son tried to rip me off by charging an unadvertised 15% "commission", despite their listing saying that there are no additional fees or taxes. I actually had two separate bookings and paid the commission the first time but checked afterwards and realised I had been charged too much. This is not a good way to treat guests. I wasn't clear if the son was trying to take this for himself or if it was the guesthouse policy. Either way, I refused to pay it and they backed down but then tried an inflated exchange rate. Beware.
