The cottage was homely, clean and comfortable. We loved the character. Our host was very helpful, explaining about parking options and getting back to us promptly when we had queries. It was brilliantly situated for proximity to the city & attractions.
The cottage was very dark in the back rooms - we had to keep the lights on in the daytime - caused by the tall trees on the dark patio. Also, they caused a lot of leaf fall on the garden furniture and ground. It was not inviting to sit out unless we had spent some time sweeping and cleaning, which we didn't feel was our job. Parking was definitely an issue, very expensive in the city. We parked at the park and ride, which was inexpensive but a long way to walk every day.

Jammer dat het tuintje heel slecht onderhouden was, peper en zout in de keuken zou fijn zijn evenals een theezakje als je net aankomt
