About this apartment rental
In the heart of Florence, large and panoramic apartment, very nice, bright, spacious and well located, also great for business trips.
It consists of a large open space in which there is a triple living room with large entrance hall, decorative fireplace, kitchen / dining area and access to the upper floor mezzanine.
Three bathrooms, two very large, one with bathtub and shower, double sink, toilet and bidet, one with a panoramic bathtub over the cathedral, sink, bidet and toilet, and one inside a bedroom, with toilet, sink, shower and washing machine.
Great for 8 people, can accommodate up to 10 persons.
Four rooms, on two internal floors, three of which are large and spacious and one very small.
Downstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom and one with a cot for children from 1 / 3 years.
Upstairs, in the loft, there is a large room with two twin beds that can be prepared separately or combined as a double bed and a very small room, low, perfect for boys, with two regular single beds.
Exposed beams and parquet flooring everywhere. LED TV, DVD, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, hairdryer, air conditioning in the double bedrooms and living room, internet wi-fi, high chair for children, mosquito nets.
The large, bright and spacious room, as well as the view, make it ideal for large families or groups of friends. We provide check-in online service, cleaning, linen and assistance to guests of professional quality.
On request we can provide other tourist services.
The property is located on the third and last floor of an old building WITHOUT ELEVATOR, so it is not recommended for elderly people or people with reduced mobility.
The location allows you to live in Florence in a central area but safe, and to reach all major museums and attractions comfortably with a few steps.
In the area there are restaurants, bars, banks and supermarkets within 500 meters, in the nearby Via dei Servi.
Bus and taxi are nearby, in Piazza Annunziata and in Piazza San Marco.
About 1 km to the main train station, Santa Maria Novella, although with the narrow and historic streets of Florence bringing your luggage becomes tiring.
In the historic district of Santa Croce, every corner is worthy of attention.
The car is not recommended, however, in the area there are car parks and private garages with special rates for accommodation facilities.
In September there is the historic typical happening, the "Reficolona", in front of the house, and in December the area is full of Christmas markets.

Fabulous apartment in a great location. The host, Francesca was excellent at communicating with us, and overall I’d give her 5 stars. The photos are accurate, you can see the top of the Duomo from the L/R window, and everything else is as shown. Just remember you have 3 flights of stairs to climb (66 steps) with your luggage to get to your room. There were 6 of us, all adults, and we’d highly recommend Francesca’s large comfortable apartment.

This apartment was even better than depicted in the photos and PERFECT for our family of seven. There were two bedrooms on the main level, two in the loft area, and a well-thought out living and dining area. It was charmingly decorated and very clean. Of course, the most beautiful decoration was the view of the Duomo outside the living room window! Additionally, the apartment was in a great location. The host, Francesca, was so kind and accommodating, and responded quickly with any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again. Without a doubt.Two notes:1/ The apartment is on the third floor. There is no elevator. This was not a problem for our family but might be an issue for elderly guest. 2/ To travelers coming from the United States: Just as you have to submit your passports when checking into any hotel in Europe, you will need to do the same here. This was all done online (via a link emailed to you) and the process went smoothly. Just be prepared to enter everyone's passport information (including photos).

Our family loved the apartment and location. Having the view of the Duomo from our window was amazing. It was clean and Francesca was a great host. Would stay there again.

Check in process stressful because I couldn’t get the app to open. When I contacted the host she said she wasn’t sure if she could get anyone to meet us at the property. Not helpful. Was able to load app and get in. Wish she would have warned us about the taxi strike as well. The property itself is fine, I think it’s 50 stairs or so, if you have anyone who can’t manage them. When you get into the property there are another 20 or so stairs to the upper bedroom, and one of our party hit his head on the very low roof at the top of the stairs. No sign there. Overall decent place in good location other than getting a taxi. One shower wasn’t draining and let the owner know and she told me the pipes are old. I emphasize that it wasn’t draining and she sent someone who fixed it. Washing machine leaked water all over the floor.Biggest issue is on our first night we went for dinner and upon return the key didn’t work. We attempted to contact owner for well over an hour with no response. 2 of our party badly needed to use the bathroom . Went to the pub on the corner and they refused to let them use the bathroom despite my offering to pay. We knocked on doors in the apartment complex out of emergency and some people downstairs let them use their bathroom, thankfully. Oh, the owner never did talk to me personally, and said we need to bring multiple keys with us. If you’re looking for customer care, guidance and recommendations this is not for you.
