I had a wonderful stay. The service was excellent, and the attention and hospitality made me feel right at home. Everything was comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

Excelente todo!! Desde la ubicación, a distancia de caminata del downtown de Weed, la Casa es Espectacular muy cómoda y con un jardín que te permite disfrutar del aire libre hasta último momento. La cama es comodisima, justo lo que uno necesita si vuelve de un día de actividades! Muy cerca de la autopista que conecta con los mejores lugares para visitar del Monte Shasta Y Vanesa es una persona encantadora y muy pendiente de dar una mano en todo lo que sea necesario. Lo recomiendo mucho y espero volver !!!

Can't comment on breakfast because we left before "breakfast." I don't think it was available anyway. Weed has an interesting history. The historical museum is comprised of donations by longtime residents and maintained by volunteers. Very home grown environment. Weed is located in the foothills of Mt.Shasta, which is home to beautiful lakes and waterfalls. The opportunities for outdoor adventure is available. However, we were just passing through on our way to Napa for a wedding and didn't have time to enjoy the opportunity of out-of-door sight seeing.

The hostel is in an old home which is in need of renovations and facility upgrades, so there was no AC available at night, and it was hot. The distress of three traumatic events for the community, two fires and the closing of the lumber mill, the major employer for the town, is palatable in the town's atmosphere.
