The cabin in Packwood exceeded all the expectations of our large family, who cooked most of our own meals during our stay. It has a unique charm and a very cozy atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed linens and towels were fresh.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking, including plenty of utensils and even a supply of some basic pantry items. Having a washer and dryer was also a huge bonus and proved to be very useful.
The deck and backyard were perfect for relaxing after long hikes in Mt. Rainier National Park. There is also a barbecue and a fire pit available, although we didn't have the chance to use them.
Communication with the owner was quick, friendly, and helpful. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay, and the self check-in process was simple and convenient.
We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this cabin to others.
The only minor downside was the location. Although the cabin is in Packwood, it's on a road that's a bit removed from the main route. Coming from Mt. Rainier National Park, you have to drive through the entire town, cross the river, turn around, and then drive another 8–10 minutes because there's no direct connection from the main road. However, this didn't significantly affect our stay or our overall impression.
