Fey's Flat is a charming compact flat which is tastefully decorated, in a fantastic downtown Vancouver location with wonderful harbour views. The host, Shayan, went above-and-beyond before check-in to answer questions and suggest a terrific breakfast restaurant and other local shops I wanted to visit. Very close to cruise terminal and great restaurants!
The flat does not have central air-conditioning so there are room air-conditioners in the main living area and the bedroom. They do a nice job cooling down the spaces. The downside of these machines is that they need to be 'vented' through a partially open window and sliding door. This is not a problem except, even with the condo location on the 28th floor, there is a loud, squeaky, above-ground train that travels every 3-5 minutes from early in the morning to late in the evening that can disrupt sleep. I think the non-air conditioning months with windows closed would eliminate this annoyance or heavy sleepers during summer would fare better. Also, with a longer stay, I think one would block out the noise more easily.

Modern, neat, tidy, lots of places to eat.
No directions sent to get into the unit when you book. We had to ring 3 times to get into the unit because there were no instructions.
Had to use someone else’s phone because we are international travellers with no phone calls. The host finally sent the details but because booking. Com said they could take 24 hours to respond, I didn’t check booking.com again.
The blinds let a lot of light in and the trains run all night, very loud. The bed was very comfortable. Nowhere to put all the furniture to use the sofa bed. Not ideal for 4 people
