Schön angelegtes Boutique Hotel, das erst kürzlich vor unserem Urlaub eröffnet hat. Die verschiedenen Cabana Rooms und Apartments sind in einem schön gestalteten Park angeordnet.
Beim Frühstück im Restaurant mit unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten und sehr appetitlich angerichteten Köstlichkeiten lässt es sich gut in den Tag starten. Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und über WhatsApp ist eine unkomplizierte Kommunikation bei Fragen und Wünschen möglich.
Aktuell gibt es zwei Pools, wobei der beheizte nur genutzt werden kann, wenn die zugehörige Villa nicht vermietet ist. Wir hatten Glück und konnten diesen Pool genießen, da er etwas privater liegt. Eine Saune, die sich in die Landschaft einfügt und einen schönen Ausblick über die Felder garantiert, kann reserviert werden.
Das Hotel wirkt familiär, ruhig und ist perfekt zum Entspannen. Ein kleines Gym bietet Geräte für Functional Training, Reformer Pilates und Cardio Geräte (Bike, Rower). Laufstrecken gibt es vor der Türe. Von Hotel zum Beach sind es ca. 5 km über Feldwege. Lage für Ausflüge zu Stränden war ebenfalls gut. Yogaeinheiten werden angeboten.
Da das Hotel erst kürzlich eröffnet hat, gibt es noch kleinere Verbesserungsarbeiten an denen bereits gearbeitet wird. Unser Room war schön und optisch ansprechend gestaltet. Z.B. im Badezimmer lassen sich leider bereits Abnützungserscheinungen (durch schnelle Bauweise? nicht ganz gründliche Säuberung? verkalkte Brause?) erkennen, was aufgrund der erst kürzlichen Eröffnung verwunderlich ist. Das lässt sich bestimmt in den Griff bekommen.
Wir haben auch das Abendessen im Restaurant getestet. Hier bin ich noch nicht überzeugt. Die Gerichte kamen lauwarm und was Preis/Leistung/Geschmack/Ideenreichtum betrifft, gibt es in der Umgebung starke Alternativen. Die für mich persönlich etwas tragende, schwere Playlist nimmt dem Ambiente leider den leichten, beachy, lebendigen Flair, den der Optische Auftritt des Hotels eigentlich verspricht.

Prachte locatie, smaakvol ingerichte kamers, uitzicht over de rijstvelden. Ontbijt was heel lekker, vriendelijk personeel. Je komt in dit hotel volledig tot rust. Wij komen hier zeker terug!

The property itself is beautiful and the surrounding environment is truly stunning. The hotel clearly has enormous potential. However, when choosing a hotel of this category, it is expected a level of service and attention that, unfortunately, we did not experience during our stay.
Upon our arrival, the receptionist left to carry our luggage ourselves almost all the way to the room (27), which is located quite far from the reception area and downhill. We were also told that the restaurant menu would be sent to us immediately, but we never received it, resulting in us deciding to have lunch outside the hotel.
Several aspects of the hotel’s organization were not explained to us upon check-in. For example, nobody informed us how to enter and exit through the gate or which button needed to be pressed to open it when leaving by car.
On our first day, we found the gym locked despite it being within the advertised opening hours. We called reception a few times asking for instructions before they noticed the issue.
The housekeeping service was equally disappointing. Our room has not been cleaned (despite spending the entire day outside). We therefore had to call (again!) reception, to be provided at least with sole water and fresh towels. The previous day, we had to call them because there was no toilet paper in the room…
The manager, with whom we crossed paths on several occasions during our stay, never stopped to speak with us to present either themself or the hotel. Given that the hotel is new, we would have expected at least a more personal approach towards guests.
Finally, we dined once at the hotel restaurant and, when paying the bill, the waiter directly asked whether we wished to add a tip. While we fully understand that tips are appreciated, we believe that, in a hotel of this level—especially towards guests already staying at the property—this should remain entirely at the discretion of the customer an not be explicitly requested.
As mentioned, the hotel and the infrastructure are beautiful and have tremendous potential, which is precisely why we felt to bring these points to attention.
