The room was clean, comfortable, and quirky. The standard of the whole place was excellent. Newly refurbished to a very high standard. Jack was friendly, helpful, and courteous as were the rest and the breakfast was lovely.
The room was on the ground floor so had to drop the Romans blind for privacy which was a shame. I have suggested frosted glass part way up the window for this reason to allow light still in. This was a minor issue though.

Everything - what a find! Such amazing facilities, staff and food was amazing also. Room beyond the price point and quite possible the best bed I’ve stayed in.

The property had recently been fully refurbished. The decor is beautiful with a great attention to detail. The room has everything you could want along with great coffee which in my book is always a winner. The bed was heavenly and then to finish it off the following morning I had the full breakfast which was freshly cooked and large.
As I have said this is a recently refurbished and while not a game changer they could do with hooks in the bathroom for towels. That was my only gripe.

Clean comfortable and staff were very helpful and friendly
Ed was extremely comfortable
Only minor issue couldn’t really be changed, bathroom in our room was small but that’s just the building layout, we shall definitely stay again
