The 3 of us had a lovely stay at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. The hosts were super kind and even offered us drinks on arrival, amused us with stories about the owl that is living with them and helped us get to know the surroundings. Great choice for a great price!
Be sure to ask the hosts about the scottish theme!

Magnifique bâtisse, chambres confortables et très propres ! Salle de bain grande (baignoire +douche), nous avons très bien dormi, Sarah et Patrick sont des hôtes accueillants et gentils, le petit déjeuner est qualitatif et quantitatif (mention spéciale pour les pancakes!) Nous recommandons à 100%, de plus l'emplacement est agréable à la campagne, pas de bruit !

Le Chardon is stunning.
The location ticks plenty of boxes: only a few minutes from a main route through France, but equally in the heart of the countryside.
The accommodation easily ranks within the very best of places we have stayed (we travel a fair amount):
spotlessly clean (the most important tick box) and incredibly comfortable (space, bed & bedding).
The hosts: Patrick and Sarah are fabulous. Generous with their time, providing an evening meal at the last minute, eating with us and welcoming us as if we were known friends.
The hospitality: both the evening meal and breakfast were delicious, Sarah and Patrick we kind and generous.
One of the best places we have stayed.
Nothing to dislike.
