It shelters the garden and the house with its shade, providing much-appreciated natural cooling during hot weather. You will admire its magnificent form, which has earned it the designation of a ‘remarkable tree of France’. Its canopy merges with that of the camellia, which is also over a century old and under which your children can explore. The house, spread over two floors, offers numerous spacious bedrooms and a lovely living area for socialising. This house has seen musicians grow up here, and the piano in the living room is available for guests to use. The original décor combines modernity with references to local and family history. Stepping out of the garden, you can take a stroll to the amphitheatre-shaped square below, with its view of the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel and its children’s play area. You might also pop along to the Changeons farm to see its organically grown produce. The square leads onto the Jardin des Plantes and its magnificent panoramic view.
