Nicely designed, well equipped apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was located closely to the lake and restaurants. The owner is really nice and helpful and tries to assist with all requests you may have. Overall very positive experience.
Our apartment (and this refers to the particualr apartment we had as the hotel offers rooms and apartments spead over the town) had only one real window to a very narrow street. Still it is not a big issue when you have the whole big lake few steps away.

We spent 10 nights here as a family of four, with our two young daughters, and had a genuinely lovely stay.
One thing we hadn’t fully appreciated before arriving was that the apartment forms part of a developing albergo diffuso, rather than being a completely standalone holiday apartment in the Airbnb sense. We usually deliberately seek out independent accommodation where we can live amongst local residents and experience everyday life in the town, so initially we wondered whether we had made the right choice.
We needn’t have worried. The project is still in its early stages and the apartments are integrated into the historic centre of Marta, with local people living all around us. We very quickly felt part of village life. We walked to the local bakery for breakfast cornetti, shopped locally, ate in Marta’s restaurants, wandered along the lake and joined the evening passeggiata, usually with a gelato somewhere along the way. It gave us exactly the authentic Italian family experience we had hoped for.
Our two-bedroom family apartment was spacious and comfortable for two adults and two children. The renovation has been carried out very sensitively, retaining the character of the historic building and fitting beautifully into the old streets surrounding it.
Massimiliano was an excellent host: responsive, kind and always willing to help. He was particularly lovely with our daughters and even took one of them for a ride in his brand-new golf buggy, which he had bought to transport guests and their luggage to the new apartments. Little touches like that made us feel extremely welcome.
It is worth being clear that the wider hotel and spa project is not yet complete, so anyone booking now expecting a finished hotel, apartment and spa complex should be aware that it is still very much a work in progress. However, Massimiliano clearly has a great deal of vision for the property and is working hard to bring it all together.
Our only real area for improvement would be the air conditioning and electrics. During our stay the electrical circuits tripped a few times when higher-powered appliances were being used alongside the air conditioning. The air-conditioning unit in the master bedroom would also benefit from being hardwired. Most importantly for families, we would strongly recommend adding an air-conditioning unit to the second bedroom, as it became extremely warm and the existing units could not cool it sufficiently. The main living-area unit could perhaps also be upgraded or repositioned to make it more effective. That said, we visited in August during exceptionally hot weather, with temperatures reaching around 32–38°C, and none of this spoiled our enjoyment of the holiday.

Great location, just 100 ft from the lake, the largest volcanic, spring fed lake in Europe! The apartment is tastefully designed. The bed was firm and so comfortable (and we are very difficult to please.) The staff are amazing, so helpful and accommodating. Thank you Massimiliano and Laura.
