While Lisbon seems a bit confusing to get around, the location of this apartment is very easy to find. We were dropped off by an Uber. Most places are within walking distance.
Isabelle greeted upon our arrival. She is very friendly and accommodating.
The apartment was perfect for us. Located up a quiet stairway separate from any noise on the street.
We had a wonderful time!

Located in the Alfama district of Lisbon just below the Castelo of Sao Jorge and above the Lisbon Cathedral. Central to everything you would want to visit in Lisbon. Steps from public transportation. The flat had everything we needed and was charming. Would highly recommend this flat for a couple or for a small family with young kids who would love the loft bedroom.

❇️ cute little place with an interesting history dated back to 18th century
❇️ Isabelle the host is super helpful - bringing us the best egg tarts as welcome, answering all our questions, letting us drop off luggage at 10am, helping book a taxi for airport & more
❇️ the second bedroom is actually a loft space (very cute with skyline) and the occupants have to go through the main bedroom for exit or use the bathroom
❇️ the apt is well stocked with all the cooking stuff, tea & coffee, laundry detergent, hairdryer & more
❇️ we love the location! However it is more on the hill near the castle while most visitors stay near the metro station Rossio. It is about 15min walking to the station (we are not used to all the hills 😅)

We fully enjoyed our stay at this property. Isabelle is warm and welcoming, the property is clean with plenty of space, and the location is exceptional. It was nice to have a host that was so communicative and willing to provide suggestions and tips for touring and navigating the city.

Isabelle is an excellent host. Very helpful accommodating , immediate response if you have questions. Early checkin and She extended our stay with no extra charge . She even drove us to Fatima. Location excellent. Very homey and clean. We will stay here again

Fun place to be, nice and comfy with everything we needed. Around the corner from many things, as most places there it is up many stairs, but that’s how you get great views. Would stay again

La proprietaria è stata molto gentile perché il check-in era nel pomeriggio ma ci ha fatto lasciare comunque i bagagli appena arrivati. Abbiamo chiesto se era possibile avere un passeggino e ce l 'ha fatto trovare. La casa era pulita e accogliente completa di tutto. Ci siamo trovato molto bene

5 Sterne trotz Überbuchung
Ehrlich gesagt kann ich das Apartment selbst gar nicht beurteilen, da mir 3 Tage vor der Anreise mitgeteilt wurde, daß es einen technischen Fehler gab (zum ersten mal seit 2011), der zu einer Überbuchung geführt hat. Die Vermieterin Isabelle hat umgehend die Buchung storniert und die bereits gezahlte Miete erstattet. Sie hat sich umfassend entschuldigt und sehr glaubhaft dargelegt, daß es nicht ihre Schuld gewesen ist.
Was dann kam war unglaublich. Isabelle hat nicht nur dafür gesorgt, daß wir eine perfekte Alternative erhalten haben, sie hat darüber hinaus auch die Mehrkosten (das neue Apartment war größer) übernommen. Außerdem hat uns eine Flasche Wein und eine persönliche Karte mit einer erneuten Entschuldigung erwartet.
Insofern kann ich in Wirklichkeit nichts über das angebotene Apartment sagen (abgesehen von der Lage, die erstklassig ist), aber der Vermieterin Isabelle würde ich 10 Sterne geben.

Tolle Unterkunft in zentraler Lage
Kleine, gemütliche Wohnung mitten in Alfama, aber trotzdem absolut ruhig. Man kann alles sehr gut zu Fuß erkunden.
Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht, ist sauber und Isabella steht einem immer als Ansprechpartnerin zur Verfügung.
Wir hatten tolle Tage in Lissabon und können die Wohnung jedem empfehlen!

Isabelle nous a permis d'avancer notre heure d'entrée dans l'appartement et nous a gentiment aidés à résoudre un problème de vêtement oublié dans l'avion.
En plus, des pasteis de nata nous attendaient...

Un excellent séjour passé chez Isabelle, qui nous a accueillis avec des gâteaux maison ! L'appartement est très bien situé, et est très agréable à vivre, aménagé avec soin et goût. Tout y est, même la machine à laver le linge pour dépanner ! C'était parfait !

De gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk, communicatief en behulpzaam. Het appartement is zeer goed uitgerust: hier wordt echt geleefd. Wel beperkte ruimte voor 4 (zeker als je het zetelbed in de living gebruikt), en nogal vochtig. De ligging is prima: alles op wandelafstand!

Cute, well situated, easy to find.
We used this apartment for a one night layover in Lisbon. It worked perfectly, and Isabelle was very helpful. Taxi ride from the airport was quick, 15 min. Landed at noon and was checked into the apartment by 1:45. Rose the tram and had a nice dinner in Alfama.

Wonderful and more than expected!
Isabelle was a wonderful host! She met us at the house we were staying and brought some yummy treats upon our arrival. She had lots of information and tips about the area. She’s had maps to get around. Great food recommendations just down the stair around the corner from the place. Also, the location had lots around that was walking distance. The train station was about a 10-15 minute walk as well so we were able to hop on that to go out of the city! Would definitely recommend and would go back myself!

Great family stay
We enjoyed our time in Lisbon in this great apartment for family of five. Clean and bright - it had everything we needed. Great location near Cathedral within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and sites. Isabelle was a great host who met us at the metro station and accommodated our arrival and departure times. She explained lots of useful information about the area and left plenty of information to review in the apartment. We will stay here again if we make it back to Lisbon some day.

Sorry this isn't in French or Portugese, we had a four night stay in this extremely well equipped apartment. The weather was cold and wet and thankfully the apartment was warm and cosy. Would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment, however you need to be able to cope with lots of stairs, we are in our late sixties and had no problem with them.

Cosy modern apartment in a great location!
The apartment was as described - modern, clean, and in a good location. Isabelle was a great host, to direct our arrival from the airport, as well as direct us to the local sights and nearest amenities. Her English was great, which was very useful since our Portuguese wasn't not that good. You need good legs to get around in the steep areas of the Alfama district, and I would not hesitate to recommend Isabelle's place in this old and interesting Lisbon neighbourhood.
