The kitchen comes fully stocked with modern applicances, coffee station and a dinning table that we built ourselves using locally sourced logs.

The cozy pellet stove fireplace is easy to use. Fill up the hopper with the pellets provided, turn it on, and wait a few mintues for it to get going. Once the flame appears, you'll have the whole cabin very warm on a chilly night.

Come inside and rest on the comfortable leather couches. The open floor plan allows everyone to be together after a long day and share in the evening's activities. Being together is what camping is all about.

Camping in the woods is never complete without cooking together, and the food always tastes better in the mountains.

Make sure to leave time to have some great base camp meals.

See the kids play outside, and your travel companions hang around the outdoor fire from the convenient kitchen window.

As you approach the front of the historic cabin, you realize you have a lot of space in the woods outside to gather, rest and play.

The front entrance to the cabin sits in front of two private parking spaces and greets weary travelers with calm and beauty.

The best part about being in the national parks is being able to sit around the fire after a day of adventure, tell stories, and make memories. As the sun sets, the stars appear and the fire roars, there is a magical feeling that never leaves you.

Through the open doors, the beauty and sounds of nature sweep in. The small creek across the street can be heard from everywhere on the property.

About this house rental

Stay in the most convenient location possible to enjoy the wonders of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The cabin is located in the historic cabin community of Wilsonia and adjacent to the park's visitors center and many attractions. The cabin was fully remodeled in 2026 and includes an outdoor fire pit gathering area, open floor plan, a unique upstairs tent cabin-style sleeping loft and secret playhouse for kids outside. EV-friendly cabin with onsite 50-amp charging.
