Poor value for money

There was plenty of room for us, 3 adults, and the towels were soft. The car park space was a good size. Your instructions and directions were clear. The shower was powerful.

1) The whole flat smelled musty as soon as we entered the door. 2) There were hairs in drawer where mugs were kept upside down on a dirty surface. 3) Only one small lock on the flat door, which made us feel unsafe, even with the chain lock. 4) Very basic for what we paid. Bath panel had a makeshift piece of wood screwed to it where the tiles were missing. There is just basic stuff like a few tea bags and coffee sachets, but no condiments like salt and pepper. 5) The hot and cold taps in the bathroom were actually opposite to what is indicated on them, so cold water comes out of the hot taps and vice versa. 6) There is no towel hooks/rail in the bathroom and with 3 large wet towels to dry one towel rack/rail, at least, would have been very useful. 7) Toothbrush glass holder in the bathroom was falling off the wall and the bathroom mirror was set too high for us. We average 5 feet 2 inches. 8) Noise from flat above the lounge from 9:30-11:30pm on our first night. Sounded like furniture was being moved. 9) Pathway from rear car space to the front is narrow and blocked by a bin and a freestanding gate. These obstacles make it awkward to move through without bags but very difficult with bags/suitcases. If we are not supposed to use this pathway then we should have been told or clear signage provided. Overall we’d class this place as rough/poor, overpriced and wouldn’t use it again.
