A newly renovated apartment in a historic building, located in a quiet and peaceful area with easy access to public transport. The Spanish Steps are within a pleasant walking distance. The neighborhood is very enjoyable, with numerous small shops and a local market just 50–100 meters away. Access to the apartment is fully digital, with helpful instructions provided by the host.
The property consists of 3 apartments. Guests have access to a shared dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and a shared refrigerator.
The apartment is quite spacious, with a large and comfortable bed. The air conditioning works well, and there is no noticeable street noise.
An underground car park is located right next to the building. It costs €30 per day and is monitored 24 hours a day.
Noise – unfortunately, the soundproofing is very poor. You can hear everything from the neighboring apartments and the shared hallway. Other guests returning late at night and having normal conversations can easily wake you up (photo shows the entrance door to my apartment after another guest returned at 3 a.m. from a night out). Early check-outs by other guests can also disturb your sleep. This is a significant downside.
Cleanliness – unfortunately, this was also disappointing. There were stains on the bed linen, crumbs on the shelf, and the area under the bed was not properly cleaned. There were also hairs in the bathroom and on the towel.
