Refurbished apartment to a good standard in a quiet residential area. Parking was always available in the street in front of the house. 5 minutes to the beach and local restaurants. 10 minutes to the marina and more restaurants. Bottle of water and coffee pods on arrival with tea towel and cleaning apparatus also there. Shampoo and body wash, toilet rolls supplied. Air conditioning unit in lounge and main bedroom which were super quiet. Nice seating areas to front and back of property. Day trip to Tabarca island a must, beautiful beaches and small walled village where you can stay the night, return ticket 10euros per adult.
Door locking system a bit temperamental, advertised a hair dryer but we couldn’t find one. An iron and ironing board would be helpful. Towels including tea towel smelled musty, but we bought washing detergent and laundered them so they were fresh.
There is only one shower on first floor, downstairs there is a toilet and sink and the same on the third floor, so had to co-ordinate showers prior to going out. Third floor very hot found a fan in the spare room but didn’t really make a difference. On top of the Booking.com fee they ask you to complete details prior to arrival in a ‘Boarding pass’ where you are asked whether you want them to debit your payment card for an amount which they will refund after the stay to cover possible damage or pay an insurance to cover the same. We enquired about an early check in as we had an early flight and 5pm seemed late and we referred to their ‘Boarding pass’ for info- again there was a charge. And if you were late checking out over 11am you risk being charged an extra day.
