If you’re planning a short stay, be warned: this hostel probably won’t let you leave! 😂
The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming that I honestly can’t find enough words to describe it. I was originally supposed to stay for 3 nights and ended up extending for another 10 days, and I only left because I had to. Trust me, I would have stayed even longer!
Mi Casa really feels like a home away from home. Everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming and always available to help with whatever you need. I would rent a bike, spend the day exploring Luang Prabang, and when I came back, there was always someone around to share stories and talk about the day with. The atmosphere is honestly beyond welcoming.
The breakfast changes every day, so you wake up every morning to something different and delicious. And the mom is an amazing cook, if not the best. I had the best sticky rice of my life here!
Twice a week, they also have a family dinner for everyone staying at the hostel, and once again, the food was some of the best I’ve had during my travels.
I came here expecting to stay three nights and ended up feeling like part of the family. I couldn’t recommend Mi Casa more!

What an unbelievable and amazing experience it was to stay here.
The host family are the sweetest and kindest people and truly make you feel like you are part of the family. I made so many friends and had so many amazing moments! The facilities are comfortable and cozy, the free breakfast every day was absolutely delicious!
I cannot recommend Mi Casa enough, if you visit you might never want to leave!

This was a really comfortable and welcoming place. The family have done an amazing job to make the environment feel like home away from home. I really have no notes. The facilities are just what you need, the breakfast is delicious, the family dinners that they host are such a nice touch, the family always being available to support you makes you feel so welcomed. I loved it so much I came back!
