Sand and Stone Resort

The resort had a lot to do. There were different multiple spaces to relax and unwind. There were trails, beach, clear river for kayaking, hammocks to relax, swings, lots of outdoor seating, fire pits for the evenings. In all, it was a great getaway to reset and be so close to nature. They have plans to extend and have more so will definitely visit again to check that out.

There wasn't anything to pinpoint.

Such elegant, comfortable and sweet accommodations! Lovely decor- luxurious, cotton linens, wonderful beds, yummy coffee and water, tasteful esthetic all 'round. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Really beautiful, well-kept grounds with lots of space to roam (sweet river) and relax on comfy furniture, hammocks, etc.

It's a little remote (perfect for a resort-like escape), so have what you need and want before you arrive.

We had such a wonderful stay in Sand and Stone resort. The rooms were beautifully designed, very clean, and comfortable. The mattress was clearly high quality, we slept incredibly well. One of the highlights was definitely Christina, the manager. She was incredibly friendly, warm, and thoughtful. One evening, we wanted to sit outside in the dark and enjoy the stars, and Christina came over with Prosecco, made a fire for us, and joined us for a lovely conversation that lasted until after midnight. It was such a special and memorable evening, and her hospitality made us feel truly welcome. We also really enjoyed the facilities, especially the kayaks and SUPs, which gave us some great memories on the water. There were plenty of comfortable and cozy outdoor areas to sit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful Muskoka surroundings. We would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

We stayed at Sand and Stone for the long weekend and had such a wonderful time. We were especially impressed by how thoughtful everything at the resort was. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and there was so much to enjoy during our stay. We played badminton and volleyball on the courts, had prosecco by the fireplace overlooking the river, and ended the evening stargazing. The next morning, we went for a run to Arrowhead Provincial Park, which is only about 3 km away, and into town for coffee. We also spent time kayaking and swimming, with kayaks and life jackets conveniently provided by the resort. The kitchenette in our room was another great touch. We made dinner and enjoyed it outside on the patio, which was a lovely way to end the day. We really made the most of our stay and had an excellent time. A special shout-out to Christina, who was incredibly welcoming and helped make our stay so memorable. Highly recommend Sand and Stone — we would happily stay again!
