Lovely room, very comfortable bed, staff were exceptional, and very dog friendly

Very tidy and clean. Tea and coffee provided. Nice and warm atmosphere shower was good with plenty of room. Given instructions over text about entering the room which was very helpful
Thin walls so you could hear other guest tv’s and talking. The night security light was in the middle of the ceiling and lit up the room ( should be over the door and dimmer) pity the pub wasn’t open for customers, had to go back into Thirsk for food

Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Tea, coffee, TV, WiFi all provided. Large shower room. Only met one staff member but she was chatty and pleasant. Very reasonable price.
Was slightly concerned about the self entry system when the pub is shut, but it was in fact relatively easy to negotiate, though a little scary in the dark for an elderly lady on her own. There was a backup telephone contact provided, however, which I didn't need to use.pleas

Clean room. Location easy to find. Nice tea and coffee provided in room.
Nothing in details of property to advise of how to check-in when pub closed. Bathroom lacked simple things like a hook to hang clothes and towels. No shelf in shower to put shower gel/ shampoo. Room was not furnished as described in hotel details, no desk /dressing table to help me get ready in morning. No idea why a dinning table is listed as being in room, because there wasn't one.
Room looked freshly decorated but to poor finish standard. Bizarrely the heating was on when it was a summer warm day and had to keep window open to try and dampen down the trains that past every 2-7 minutes tol very late in night.
Lastly the tv!! What's the deal with the TV, could not get normal TV stations. Had to make do with with iplayer and you tube channel. No instructions provided.
Uncomfortable bed meant we both had backpack.
