I have always loved this hotel. It is comfortable and has good food.
Unfortunately an event was taking place that involved very loud music that continued until 50 minutes after midnight. We were exhausted after a long drive and this prevented us getting to sleep. I have to say that this had never happened before when staying here.

Location was great as just off the A1M & easy to get into Wetherby

Location for our onward travels was good.
We had 2 rooms- mine was in a quiet part of the hotel which was good but the room was aged and in need of a refresh particularly in the bathroom. The second room was in a better condition but nearer the loud party music that was going on past midnight and then lots of people noisily going to there rooms- no receptionist available when we returned at 10pm- hoping to get some earplugs to block the noise. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Spa hotel I would expect a swimming pool.

Location
Some items not being kept up to former standard eg cupboard door in bedroom needing repair, drop down door in tv cabinet loose. We ate in Byron bar - spoiled by table not clean .
