Room was clean and in a lovely location in the grounds, all staff were very polite and friendly service in the restaurant was first class could not fault anything food was very tasty and well presented.
When our towel rail was not working did not expect it to be fixed until the Monday as it was late Sunday when I mentioned it to a member of staff was informed 30 minutes later that it had been fixed now that’s service.

Firstly parking, there is a large car park across from the hotel. Secondly staff, we were greeted and made very welcome by the staff and taken to our room not just given the key. Thirdly room, our room was in the hotel above the bar area but really quiet and very clean and comfortable. Our son, wife and grandson had a deluxe lodge with balcony, this was situated within the vast garden area to the side of the hotel, that too was very clean and comfortable. Fourthly food, we stayed bed and breakfast, great choice and lots to eat for breakfast and we booked a table for both evenings we stayed and the food did not disappoint, great menu and catered for all. Lovely birthday weekend spent and no complaints only compliments for such a well run establishment

The restaurant is fabulous, both for evening meal and breakfast. Excellent food, tasty and well presented.
Having paid a decent amount of money for a better than average room (King size) in what is essentially a pub, we were very disappointed to be put in a room facing directly on to a main road with traffic thundering past at all times of day and night. We had to have windows open as the room was very warm so that didn’t help. There is no sound proofing as the inn has old single-pane windows which I imagine cannot be tampered with.
I had requested before the visit to have a quiet room and was advised on arrival that they were fully booked and we couldn’t be moved. We therefore had a poor nights sleep, which was such a shame as the restaurant was so good.
