Our stay at Wilpattu Wilderness Camping exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, Chathu and Gamini took exceptional care of us—their hospitality, warm smiles, and attentive service made us feel completely at home in the wild. The food was absolutely incredible! Every meal was cooked to perfection, featuring authentic local Sri Lankan curries, fresh ingredients, and memorable dining setups under the trees. The absolute highlight of the entire stay was the safari with Amila. Amila is an extraordinary guide with an unbelievable eye for tracking wildlife. His deep knowledge of the park, patience, and passion transformed our game drives into unforgettable adventures. If you visit, doing a safari with Amila is the best decision you can make! Huge thanks to Chathu, Gamini, Amila, and the entire team. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a genuine wilderness escape!
