We won’t be returning.

Its location next to the canal.

The facilities…unable to access the internet. Unable to use the television. The awful noise from the cylinder when running the hot water tap in the bath. Forget having a restful soak! The front door stuck every time you tried to open it. You had to pull it with force. A definite health and safety risk if you were trying to leave the house in the event of a fire. Very uncomfortable pillows on the bed.

Great location

Excellent location. Rural, calm, exactly what we were looking for. The property is specious. Large rooms and large living space. The internet is weak, but I dont think this is something you would expect in such location.

The communication with the host was challenging. Didn't receive the security code for the key box in time, usually which is done through an email prior to the date of arrival. Waited outside the property for about 2 hours, but no one responded to the calls made on the number provided. Finally receive the code via message in the Booking.com app. If this could be avoided, this is a top rated accommodation.

Disappointed

It had a lot of potential.

The fridge froze products as it was clearly set too high. The oven was dirty and had food/fat in the bottom tray which burnt when you turned on the oven. When you ran the hot tap the water tank made a terrible noise. I could not get the TV to work. I was not notified of the safe key box code and had to ask the cleaner as no signal to call the property manager.
