Spacious 5BR Birmingham Home | Near Edgbaston

It was spacious and mostly clean. Well equipped, close to buses and areas like uni and parkland. Ideal high end student / work group accommodation and family gatherings without vehicles. Adjacent building very busy HMO but not unfriendly. Comfortable beds.

Restricted parking meant one cannot park outside the property or drop off luggage etc from 0745-0915 and 1630-1845 ( note checkin 1600 so a short window to arrive and park in. Similarly, who wants to rise at 0730-40 to move car each morning when staying? The advertised suggested ‘free parking’ is misleading in listing . Particularly difficult for me with mobility issues which meant that alternative un restrictive parking ‘a few streets away’ was not an option. I had described my needs regarding parking in advance of booking also. There was no hot water at the property during our stay or when cleaners came upon our departure. I had the key to the property with me while attending a funeral but nobody gained access ( despite being given permission to supply a key to workmen and arrange access, during our stay or while we were away from the house. ) Would benefit from more than one small sofa to allow a family to be together Dishwasher would have been more useful than a washing machine for us 4 or for the possible up to 10 people staying for a day or two ? Very difficult to communicate with anyone using no reply emails or A/I messaging services. Off putting to not be able to receive access codes to the property until arrival…. All unnecessary stress
