The lodge was modern, clean & spacious and was ready for our arrival. Everything you could think of essential wise was included, from robes, towels, hairdryer, shower gel etc. Everything you needed kitchen wise too was excellent & the added addition of an air fryer alongside the oven & microwave was excellent when making dinners. The site itself was quiet and we only took a little wonder to the play park however it's not far from St Andrews - approx 10 mins drive and you can explore everything it has to offer.
There are only three small negatives - the pillow for sleeping with were particularly firm, however that's really just a personal choice.
The lodge could do with outside lights on the decking for those wishing to use the hot tub at this time of year and the dark nights draw in early.
A small bit of guttering above one of the bedroom windows was slightly off, this meant the rain water was dripping loudly down onto the window sill - a little frustrating when the typical Scottish weather was in full force and caused a disruptive sleep.

The lodge and facilities were excellent but I would recommend some picnic/plastic glasses for use outside on the patio, and a couple of food trays would be useful.
