Discover this 3-bedroom, restored farmhouse in the picturesque New England town of Ashburnham, MA, directly across the street from Cushing Academy. You are a 15 minute drive to The Winchendon School, Fitchburg State University and Game On multi sports complex.
A short walk down the road, you will find a quaint town with a tavern, local sub shops, coffee, wine, deli, gourmet foods, art galleries, piano museum and gift shop, plus a brand new playground, library and ice cream window for the kids.
The tastefully decorated Yellow Barn features a king bed, queen bed, and twin bed, perfect for families. The beautiful, spacious living area (over 2500 sq. ft.) invites you to relax after a day of exploring. In about a 20 minute drive through winding country roads, farms and beautiful scenery, you will arrive at Mount Wachusett Ski Mountain, gorgeous trails for hiking with themed summer and fall festivals every weekend. Another short drive will take you to Mount Watatik, one of Massachusetts' most popular mountains to hike, as well as many stops along the Mid-State Trail, Dunn State Park, vintage antique/craft shops and numerous other sites to visit and enjoy the beauty of the region in all 4 seasons.
Whether you’re cooking up a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, watching a movie on the big-screen TV, toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, unwinding with a book in the sunroom, screened porch or deck, strolling through our flower gardens, this phenomenal farmhouse offers a cozy retreat.
