Welcome to Cozy Nest Sanford — a modern black lakefront cabin right on Sanford Lake with one of the biggest decks on the water.
During our 2025 studs-out rebuild, we uncovered original hand-hewn log from the 1920s lumber era hidden under drywall. We saved it — it's now the kitchen wall. Sleep modern, touch history.
THE SPACE:
2 bedrooms with queen beds, full bathroom with walk-in shower, and living room with TWO full-size futons that lay flat — sleeps 6 comfortably. Stove, full kitchenette, washer/dryer, dedicated workspace, high-speed Wi-Fi. Gas grill + fire pit on the deck.
THE DECK:
This is why you book it. Massive multi-level wood deck facing west for sunsets over Sanford Lake. Direct lake access, bring kayaks/paddleboards. 12 miles to MyMichigan Medical Center.
GUEST ACCESS:
Full use minus shed (emergency supplies + generator only). Carport + free parking on premises.
PARKING NOTE:
Summer weekends/holidays can get tight with neighboring homes — everyone is friendly, just message me and I'll help coordinate.
