POOL & LANAI
The private screened and heated saltwater pool and lanai are the heart of the home. Spend the day swimming, relaxing on two poolside chaise loungers or gathering on the large covered outdoor sectional. The lanai also features covered dining for six, a propane grill and tropical landscaping that creates a comfortable setting for enjoying the Florida sunshine and warm evenings.
Pool heat is included with every reservation. The pool is professionally maintained and heated to approximately 87°F. Actual water temperature may vary with outdoor weather conditions, particularly during unusually cool periods. Pool equipment and temperature controls are reserved for authorized service providers.
INSIDE
The bright, recently updated interior offers plenty of room for everyone to gather. The open living area has a large sectional, smart TV, soundbar. The updated kitchen features quartz countertops, a full-height quartz backsplash, stainless-steel appliances and a large sink peninsula. It is stocked with cookware, bakeware, dishes, utensils and glassware for preparing meals at home. A drip coffee maker is provided. Enjoy meals at the sunny breakfast nook for four, the two-seat kitchen counter, the separate dining room or outside on the covered lanai. WiFi is available throughout the home.
SLEEPING
The Dolphin Room is the primary bedroom and features a king bed, two nightstands and bedside lighting. Its adjoining primary bathroom includes two vanity areas, a tub and a separate walk-in shower. The Heron Room has a queen bed with two nightstands and bedside lamps. The Owl Room also has a queen bed with comfortable coastal furnishings. The Pelican Room serves as both a bunk room and office, with a twin-over-twin bunk bed, pull-out twin trundle and dedicated desk and office chair. The home accommodates a maximum of 9 overnight guests.
BATHROOMS & LAUNDRY
In addition to the spacious primary bathroom, the home has a second full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. A hair dryer is provided in each bathroom. The private laundry room includes a full-size washer and dryer, utility sink, counter space and cabinetry, with starter laundry supplies provided (6 pods).
BEACH, BIKE & FAMILY AMENITIES
We provide a selection of extras to make island days easier, including adult and children’s bicycles, helmets, bike pump, beach wagon, and beach towels. Families with young children will also find a pack-and-play and convertible high chair/booster seat available. Additional baby equipment can be rented locally through BabyQuip, subject to provider availability.
LOCATION
Biscayne Way Retreat is located in a quiet Marco Island residential neighborhood approximately one block from Mackle Park, where you can enjoy walking paths, a lake, playgrounds and recreational facilities. Marco Island beach access is approximately 1.5 miles away, and restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, mini golf, boating, fishing and other island activities are just a short drive or bike ride away. The home also makes a convenient base for exploring Naples and the Everglades. Please note that Biscayne Way Retreat is not a waterfront property.
PARKING & ACCESS
Guests have private use of the home, screened lanai and saltwater pool. Parking is available for a maximum of three vehicles in the designated driveway area: two vehicles may park in front of the garage and one additional vehicle may park horizontally on the paved apron between the sidewalk and street. Guest vehicles may not be parked inside the garage or on the lawn. The sidewalk and street must remain clear. Please no RV, Boat, jet ski or trailer parking. The garage may be accessed for the provided bicycles and stored beach and pool equipment.
GOOD TO KNOW
Maximum occupancy is 9 guests. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and checkout is at 10:00 a.m. Outdoor quiet hours begin at 8:00 p.m. and strictly enforced per ordinance after 10:00 p.m. Guests use their own accounts for streaming services. The floor plan shown in the photo gallery is approximate and not to scale.
PERSONAL TOUCH
The Dolphin, Pelican, Owl and Heron bedrooms are named for local wildlife. The wildlife photographs displayed throughout the home—and the wildlife and sunset images included near the end of the listing gallery—were photographed locally by the owners and reflect some of what makes the Marco Island area special.
Note that a PIR motion sensor is mounted in the living room, but disconnected and inoperable. There are cameras on the outside of the garage and above the pool equipment outside on the side of the house.
