Modern amenities include central air and Starlink high-speed, reliable wifi. Outside you'll find a wide array of yard and beach toys, including kayaks (with life vests). Weber grill and wood and gas fire pits means endless memories under the stars. In-house laundry, ice maker, hair dryer and all other comforts of home included.

The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meal prep. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glass, etc. Dual coffee maker with carafe and single-serve is available for guest use. Additional kitchen items include dishwasher, toaster, griddle, skillet, crock pot and ice maker. Also included: bed linens, bath towels, basic cleaning supplies and soaps (not personal soaps), and a starter set of paper products.

Nestled in quiet Free Soil, Michigan, Gun Lake offers the perfect blend of relaxation and outdoor recreation. Guests can enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, and swimming right on the lake while being just minutes from downtown Manistee, the shores of Lake Michigan, and the Manistee National Forest. The property is conveniently located near local golf courses, hiking and snowmobile trails, the Little River Casino Resort, and the charming shops, restaurants, and beaches of Manistee, making it an ideal home base for exploring Northern Michigan.

This is an ideal location for biking and riding ORVs with local trails nearby. Would be great for both fisherman, hunters, and anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors.

Please note that the garage is not included in the rental of the home. Any images of motor boats, fishing boats or jet skis are not included in the rental of the home.

Check in time is after 4:00PM and check out time is before 10:00AM. Please note that we are not able to accommodate early arrivals or late departures from May – September. Any request for additional time will depend on availability of the rental and an additional fee may be added to the stay.

ARRIVAL: There is no formal check-in procedure. Arrival details are sent prior to your check-in date and will include the exact location of the property, parking and entry information. Guests will have a private, secure entrance and the rental is not shared by owners or other guests.

DEPARTURE: We do have a very short checklist we ask renters follow upon departure. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely.

Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy.
