About this house rental
We are a couple of (partially!) retired academics, dual nationals American and French who have lived in this house since 2001. I taught at UNM in Albuquerque and my wife is an emeritus professor at St. John's College, still occasionnally teaching there.
The house itself is a haven of peace but vibrant Santa Fe with its Research Institute, art scene, etc. is only minutes away. Our neighborhood is very friendly and not crowded; most plots occupy 1 1/2 to 2 acres of land. Right in the neighborhood you find all basic necessities, a grocery store, a hardware store, pet store, post office, gas station, several restaurants and bars.
The house boasts a mini library of world classics of literature, philosophy, science and more, a delight for curious people. . .
The house features an EV charging station (Tesla) but parking will be outside as the garage is full.
The rent includes a bi-monthly cleaning service.
A permanent resident is Dodo, an indoor cat (female) that is undemanding but will love to be loved (and fed). Should you absent yourself, a friendly neighbor can take care of the cat.
