THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE
Our neighbourhood is very quiet and sound travels. Please do not book if you think your group will be very noisy. We welcome families and we live on the property.
Check-in: 4PM
Check-out: 10AM
Please respect these times to allow us to prepare the property for the next guests.
STRICT Quiet Hours:
Please keep noise to a minimum between 8PM and 8AM to respect neighbors. No music beyond 8pm and no use of the sauna after 9pm.
This is a VERY QUIET NEIGHBOURHOOD. We live in the mountains so the noise travels across the valley. Please keep windows closed in the evening if you’re up beyond 9pm and socialising.
Please turn off all outdoor lights before you go to bed.
SMOKING:
This is a smoke-free property. Smoking is not peritted inside the house or on the grounds. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly if smoking outside on the road. Be aware of the fire-bans and becareful.
PETS
No pets allowed.
PARTIES & EVENTS:
NO PARTIES or large events. Please respect our home and the neighbours. Noise really travels, even simple conversations. So please be conscious of our neighbours.
MINUT DEVICES:
We have a number of minute devices that monitor noise and smoke. They simply monitor decibels and detect smoke. You will get a notification if the noise it too loud during our quiet hours.
They do not listen in to conversations. Please do not touch, remove or tamper with these devices. We get a notification if you do. You will be charged if they get damaged.
DAMAGE & CLEANLINESS
Please take care of our home. If any damage occurs, notify us immediately. We ask that you leave the property as you found it.
PARKING:
There is ample parking on the driveway.
GARBAGE & RECYCLING:
Please dispose of all garbage in the appropriate bins.
Recycling - a different bin for each type: Paper, cans and tins, plastics, glass are all separate.
For compost - please use green compost bin in the kitchen and dispose of the food waste in the green bin outside, halway down the drive. NO BONES PLEASE.
KITCHENETTE USE:
Feel free to use all kitchenette appliances and please clean up after yourself. Any items that are broken or damaged, please let us know.
SAFETY:
For your safety, please ensure all doors and windows are locked when you leave the property. A first-aid kit is located in the kitchen cupboard.
SAUNA & COLD PLUNGE
Safety: Please DO NOT use the Sauna if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Children are not allowed in the sauna or cold plunge.
Cleanliness: To help us maintain the Cold Plunge and Sauna for all guests, PLEASE rinse off before entering the cold plunge and use a towel to sit on in the Sauna to help maintain cleanliness. Swimsuits are mandatory.
Proper Use: Do not place any oils, lotions, or other substances in the cold plunge. DO NOT add bubble bath.
Damage: Any damage to the sauna/cold plunge or misuse should be reported immediately. Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused.
CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE:
Before you leave, please:
- Turn off lights and appliances.
- Dispose of all trash.
- Lock all doors and windows.
- Strip the beds and leave the linen on top of each bed.
- Please put all the toys and lawn games back.
