Enjoy this architect designed retreat, surrounded by Icelandic nature right outside of the town of Fludir. Large floor to ceiling windows allow you to continue to enjoy the Icelandic nature from the comfort of the living room. Nature is brought inside the home with warm toned wood cabinets, walls vaulted ceilings, and nature toned furnishings. This is a large home with five bedrooms and four full bathrooms. Bathrooms are all equipped with heated towel racks. Bedrooms are equipped with top of the line mattresses and black out blinds so you can sleep on those long Icelandic summer days. Enjoy some time in the outdoor spa area, equipped with a sauna, hot tub and cold plunge as well as comfortable outdoor seating and tables. A wrap around deck offers many seating areas and different views. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you may need for your kitchen experience. For coffee and tea lovers we have a digital De’Longhi espresso machine where you can enjoy a variety of hot and cold coffees as well as a temperature controlled kettle for teas. The home has two television areas, one in the main living room with a Sonos sound system that can also be used for music and one in the tv room where there is also a Nintendo switch for gaming. This home makes a wonderful base for all of your Icelandic adventures. Just a five minute drive away is The Secret lagoon, grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy and restaurants. There is also many greenhouses in the area where you can purchase freshly grown produce, baked goods and more. Within twenty minutes you will find Laugaras Lagoon and Slakki petting zoo for children.
