The Space:

This home is all about character, space and an incredible location.



The centerpiece is the massive exposed stone wall rising through the two-level interior. Built-in illuminated niches, vintage street lamps and a black spiral staircase give the home a look and atmosphere you simply don't find in a typical rental.



DOWNSTAIRS LOUNGE



Follow the spiral staircase down and the home completely opens up.



The oversized lower lounge sits directly against the stone wall and features a large sectional, leather lounge chair with ottoman, large TV and plenty of room to spread out.



Running along the stone wall are three wide concrete tiers with cushions and pillows, creating additional lounge seating across nearly the entire room.



At night, turn on the stone-wall lighting and glowing candle niches and the whole room takes on a warm, almost hidden-lounge feel.



BEDROOM



Just off the lounge, sliding barn doors open to an unexpectedly large bedroom with:

• Plenty of room for luggage



Being on the lower level also helps make the sleeping area remarkably quiet considering how close you are to the waterfront and nightlife.

Upstairs is bright, open and comfortable.



The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas range, stainless appliances, plenty of counter space and a large island with seating for four.



There's also a four-person dining table set up for meals, a second living area with a sofa and TV, and large windows bringing natural light into the space.

The home has one full bathroom with a tub/shower plus a private washer and dryer for your stay.

The Neighborhood:

You're staying right where Old City meets the Delaware River Waterfront—one of the most fun and walkable parts of Philadelphia.



Dave & Buster's is directly across the way, with Morgan's Pier, waterfront attractions, restaurants and nightlife just steps from the home.



Walk toward Old City and you'll quickly trade the waterfront for cobblestone streets, restaurants, bars, galleries and some of America's most famous historic sites.



Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and Philadelphia's Historic District are easily accessible, while Center City, Northern Liberties and Fishtown are just beyond the neighborhood.



Our recommendation? Park the car and explore.



There's an incredible amount to eat, drink, see and do without having to drive across the city—and after a day out, you can come back to a home that's surprisingly peaceful inside.



Getting Around:

This is a great location for experiencing Philadelphia without constantly getting in the car.



WALKING

The Delaware River Waterfront and Old City are best explored on foot. Restaurants, bars, historic attractions and entertainment are all within walking distance.



PUBLIC TRANSIT

SEPTA's 2nd Street station is nearby, providing easy access across Center City and connections throughout Philadelphia.



UBER & LYFT

Rideshare is readily available and is usually the easiest option for destinations outside the immediate neighborhood.



DRIVING

There is no dedicated parking included with the home. Metered street parking and several paid garages and lots are available throughout Old City.



If you're staying for the weekend, we recommend finding a garage, parking the car and exploring the neighborhood on foot.

SPIRAL STAIRCASE

The home's unique two-level design includes a spiral staircase. The bedroom and primary lounge are downstairs, so guests must be comfortable using stairs.



UNIQUE LAYOUT

This is not a traditional one-bedroom apartment. The oversized bedroom and main lounge are located on the lower level, while the kitchen, dining area and additional living space are upstairs.



QUIET INSIDE

You're staying extremely close to the waterfront, restaurants and entertainment, but one of our favorite surprises about this home is how quiet it feels once you're inside—especially in the downstairs bedroom.



PARKING

There is no dedicated parking included. Paid garages, lots and metered street parking are available nearby.



HISTORIC CHARACTER

The exposed stone, concrete tiers and other architectural elements are part of what makes this home special. If you're looking for a cookie-cutter apartment, this probably isn't it. If you want somewhere with genuine Philadelphia character, you're in the right place.
