if you have a baby or toddler, we have a pop-up play pin you can use, can be used indoors or out.

please drive 5mph on the road leading to the house and watch out for children and animals.

we have a minisplit a/c in the living area. Each room has a fan. Keeping the windows closed during the day in the bedrooms will keep the rooms cool during the summer. The minisplit also has a heater. There is also a wood stove.

Our home is located in a beautiful natural setting, so wildlife is part of the experience. You may see deer, bears, raccoons, squirrels, mice, and other native animals. Please help keep wildlife wild by securing food, keeping doors closed, and disposing of trash properly

Guest are welcome to explore the two acres of property. There is a property line, which lines up to the garden space, past that is our neighbors property. Please respect the boundaries. Guest do not have access to the garage or shed. Please do not open the door to the chicken coop.

Depending on the duration of your stay, you may see someone on the property tending to the garden &/or chickens.


There is an active chicken coop on the property, you will most likely hear Moe & his hens during your stay.
Our neighbors nearby also have 3 goats. So you will probably hear them playing and making noises as well.
