About this cabin rental
Enjoy the cozy, rustic beauty of our modified A-frame cabin in Carnelian Bay, perfect for families or couples to enjoy all that the North Shore has to offer! Wake up to stunning vaulted wood ceilings, enjoy your coffee on the expansive deck with beautiful views of the peaceful tree-lined lot, and explore the perfect location between Tahoe City and Kings Beach. Only a 5 minute walk to a pristine public access beach, equally close to trailheads and bike paths. 15 min drive to multiple ski resorts!
Open concept living area includes:
• Living space with comfy sectional, wood-burning fireplace, and incredible natural light from oversized windows
• Dining space with expandable dining room table for 10+
• Kitchen with dishwasher, waffle maker, Keurig, and Instant Pot available for guest use
• TV with Roku Streaming Stick for access to all your streaming services
• Bonus kids space with table, toys, and games galore!
Main level also includes:
• Bedroom with king bed
• Bedroom with queen bed and twin bunk beds
• Full bathroom with walk-in shower
Upper level includes:
• Primary bedroom with king bed, vaulted ceilings and en-suite bathroom
• Loft space with partial lake view, comfy futon and classic video game consoles (anybody for Guitar Hero?)
Multiple outdoor spaces include:
• Wrap-around deck with Adirondack chairs
• Patio with propane BBQ and outdoor table and chairs
• Covered table and chairs set under deck
Lower level via exterior access with full size washer and dryer.
We know what it’s like to travel with small children! So our home provides family-friendly amenities including high chair, 2 pack & play cribs, humidifier, sound machine, baby gate (installable by guests as needed), fold-up bathtub, removable bed rail and toddler potty seat.
As with the majority of properties in Lake Tahoe, our home does not have air conditioning. Fully screened doors/windows and large fans available in each room provide ample cooling when the temperature falls during the summer evenings.
Highlights of Placer County STR rules include quiet hours between 9pm and 8am, when no noise should be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers are allowed at any time. Street parking is prohibited year-round, though there is ample parking for up to 6 cars on the driveway.
Additional house rules include no smoking of any substance on property and no pets allowed.
Per local laws, we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TOT/TBID is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor and resident services, safety, maintenance of trails and bike paths, and transportation services.
