The apartment has a fascinating connection to Parisian literary history. It was once the workshop of printer P. Mouillot, one of Victor Hugo's principal printers during his lifetime. The original printing machines were large and required spaces with exceptionally high ceilings. It is believed that Victor Hugo himself would have climbed the stairs to this very apartment to see his novels being printed, giving the home a unique connection to one of France's most celebrated literary figures.

The spacious interior features a comfortable living room, a dining room with seating for up to 10 guests, and a fully equipped kitchen. With four separate bedrooms, three private en-suite bathrooms, one shared bathroom, and two separate WCs, the apartment offers both shared spaces for gathering and private areas for relaxation.

The first bedroom features a queen-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed and a private bathroom with a bathtub. The third bedroom offers a double bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom is located on a mezzanine level, approximately 1 metre high and without a window, offering an unusual and cozy sleeping space. The living room can also be converted into an additional sleeping area with a sofa bed suitable for two guests.

Please note that the building does not have an elevator. The apartment is located on the first floor and is accessible by stairs. Guests should take this into consideration when booking, particularly when traveling with heavy luggage or anyone with reduced mobility.

Guests are kindly asked to take good care of the apartment and return it in the same condition in which they found it. Additional cleaning or repair charges may apply in the event of damage or non-compliance with the house rules.

For the comfort of our neighbors, parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours are from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m., and music is not permitted during these hours. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment and throughout the building. Only registered guests who have provided the required identification may access the apartment. Events and professional photo or video shoots are not permitted, as the apartment is intended exclusively for residential use.
