Free, gated parking is available on-site, making it easy to come and go as you explore everything Hilton Head Island has to offer.

We created Solmar Retreat as our place to slow down, unplug, and enjoy everything we love about Hilton Head Island, and we're excited to share it with you.

The first thing you'll notice when you walk through the door is the view. The ocean stretches out right in front of you, and it's hard not to stop for a moment and take it all in. Mornings here are our favorite...coffee on the balcony while watching the sunrise, dolphins swimming offshore, and the sound of the waves in the background. And, don't be surprised if you spot a deer wandering through the Ocean Dunes property. It still makes us smile every time we see one!

We've carefully renovated and redesigned the entire condo to create the kind of space we love coming back to ourselves. Every detail was chosen with comfort in mind, from the furnishings and finishes to the little touches that make a vacation feel easy and relaxing.

The bedroom was completely reimagined to create a more spacious retreat, featuring a comfortable king bed, plenty of room to unwind, and a 65-inch Smart TV for lazy mornings or winding down after a day in the sun.

The kitchen is fully stocked and ready whether you're making a quick breakfast before heading to the beach or preparing dinner after a day of exploring. If you're a coffee lover, you'll feel right at home. We've included a Keurig, Fellow Stagg Electric Kettle and Pour-Over, French press, Coffee Grinder, and Frother—because vacation mornings deserve great coffee.

The living room is designed for relaxing. Sink into the comfortable seating, enjoy the incredible ocean views, or settle in for a movie night on the 75-inch Smart TV after a day at the beach, on the golf course, or biking around the island.


As frequent travelers ourselves, we know how frustrating it can be to arrive at a vacation rental with worn-out furniture, poor-quality cookware, and nowhere to put your things. That's why we've thoughtfully equipped Solmar Retreat with comfortable furnishings, quality kitchen essentials, and plenty of storage—including 2 bedroom closets, dresser, storage closet and ample kitchen cabinetry. Our goal is simple: to provide a comfortable, clutter-free space where you can truly relax and feel at home.

We want your arrival to be as easy and stress-free as possible, so we've stocked the condo with a few essentials to help you settle in and start enjoying your vacation right away. You'll find shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and dish soap, along with a starter supply of dishwasher detergent, one paper towel roll, and two toilet paper rolls. We also provide two hot pads, a kitchen towel set, and two bath towel sets per guest. For your beach days, we've included four reclining beach chairs and one beach umbrella so you can head straight to the sand and relax. Please note that beach towels are not provided, so be sure to pack your favorites.

Our starter supplies are intended to get you comfortably settled after your travels, giving you time to unpack, unwind, and take in those beautiful ocean views before picking up any additional groceries or personal items you may need during your stay.

One of the things we love most about Solmar Retreat is the location. Ocean Dunes is close enough to walk or bike to all the restaurants, shops, and entertainment around Coligny, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and uncrowded.

Spend your day on the beach, relax by the oceanfront heated pool, or hop on the bike path along South Forest Beach and explore the island. Within minutes you'll find great restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, ice cream spots, and local favorites.

If you're traveling with kids, Lowcountry Celebration Park is nearby and worth a visit. The pirate ship playground, splash areas, and open spaces make it a favorite for families.

You'll also be just a mile from the south entrance to Sea Pines, giving you easy access to Harbour Town, South Beach Marina, scenic bike trails, waterfront restaurants, and some of the island's most beautiful views.

At the end of the day, though, our favorite part is coming back to Solmar Retreat. Relax on the balcony, listen to the waves, watch the colors change over the ocean, and enjoy the simple feeling of being on island time.
