When you wander back home sandy and happy, rinse off in the outdoor shower and claim your spot in the backyard. Fire up the grill, put your feet up, and when evening rolls around, the hot tub is waiting.

Inside, there’s plenty of room for your crew without feeling like everyone is on top of each other. Three bedrooms and space for up to 8 make Drift an easy fit for family vacations, trips with friends, couples traveling together or a few extra Florida days before or after a cruise.

And then there are the rockets.

This is the Space Coast, after all. If your timing is right, one of the coolest memories from your beach vacation might be standing outside and watching a rocket climb into the sky. We definitely recommend checking the launch schedule while you're here.

We’ve tried to take care of the little things that make a beach trip easier, too—bikes, beach gear, an outdoor shower, a private fenced backyard and, of course, that hot tub waiting for you at the end of the day.

Bringing your four-legged sidekick? We’re dog-friendly for up to two approved pups, so they don’t necessarily have to miss out on the vacation either.

Darby’s Drift isn’t meant to feel like a resort. It’s your beach house for a few days. Get comfortable, kick off your shoes and enjoy Cocoa Beach the way we think it should be enjoyed.

Darby’s Drift is all yours during your stay! You’ll have private access to the home, fenced backyard, hot tub, outdoor shower and guest amenities. Bikes and beach gear are available for your adventures, too. A few locked owner/storage areas may be marked as private, but everything you need for a great Cocoa Beach stay is ready for you to enjoy.

We’ll give you plenty of space to settle in and enjoy Darby’s Drift, but we’re never far away if you need us. A few things to know before you start packing the flip-flops…

Darby’s Drift is tucked into a quiet Cocoa Beach neighborhood, so you get the best of both worlds—the beach and all the fun nearby, plus your own little place to come home to at the end of the day. We love our neighbors and ask our guests to help us keep it peaceful. No parties or events, please, and only registered guests may stay at the home.

The house comfortably welcomes up to 8 guests, with parking for a maximum of 3 vehicles.

Bringing the pups? We’re happy to welcome up to two approved dogs with prior approval and the applicable pet fee. Just make sure they’re included on your reservation so we know who’s coming along.

The hot tub is one of our favorite spots at Drift. A quick rinse in the outdoor shower before hopping in helps us keep it sparkling for everyone. Please supervise children at all times and keep glass away from the hot tub area.

And one important little clarification: we’re close to the beach, but we’re not beachfront. The beach access is about a 5-minute walk away—close enough to grab your towel and go, but you still get a private home, fenced backyard and hot tub waiting for you when you come back.

One last tip: check the rocket launch schedule. There’s nothing quite like watching one light up the Space Coast sky—and it makes a pretty unforgettable addition to a beach vacation.
