The Space:
Welcome to Animal House! A stunning soundfront retreat in the sought-after Corolla Light community, offering incredible Currituck Sound views, direct water access, and easy access to resort amenities. Surrounded by trees and nature, Animal House is a wonderful choice for families, groups, and especially dog lovers, with a spacious outdoor dog kennel, leashed dog run stocked with dog bowls,water systems and dog blankets - truly a dog lover's paradise!
Animal House offers a comfortable layout across three levels. The top floor features an open-concept living area with beautiful sound views, a well-stocked kitchen, soundfront deck, hot tub, and the primary king bedroom with a private ensuite bath and direct deck access. The mid level includes four additional bedrooms, including two king ensuite bedrooms with direct access to the covered soundfront deck, along with additional bathrooms. In total, three king ensuite bedrooms offer direct soundside deck access, including the third-floor primary bedroom. The lower level provides a spacious den and family room with a TV, movie and game area, an equipped kitchenette, and a full bathroom.
Step outside to enjoy expansive soundfront decks, beautiful sunsets over the Currituck Sound, BBQ grill, basketball hoop, a spacious paved dog kennel with food and water bowls. Use the outdoor shower to rinse off after spending the day at the beach or taking a dip in the community pool. You can also enjoy direct access to the surrounding nature trail, which is ideal for walking and biking and connects toward Whalehead Club and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. The area is a wonderful spot for nature and wildlife lovers, with frequent bird and eagle sightings, nearby nesting areas, and a peaceful waterfront setting.
Animal House is also conveniently located near Corolla Light's soundside pool, just one house away, as well as the community's sports and recreational amenities. The trolley stop is located right by the driveway, making it easy to access the beach and other areas of the resort.
As guests of Corolla Light, you will enjoy the Oceanfront Complex, complete with the Oceanfront Grille Restaurant, a snack shack, beachfront wait service, three primary pools plus a baby pool, lighted basketball courts, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, two playgrounds, and a putting green. Corolla Light also features numerous lighted tennis and pickleball courts throughout the resort, as well as the Northern Outer Banks' largest fitness center with a 25-yard pool, hot tub, sauna, free weights, weight machines, cardio equipment, racquetball, wallyball, table tennis, and more. Guests will be given 14 wristbands for access.

For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 23. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.**
**Up to two dogs under 60 lbs are welcome for a $150 pet fee that will be added to your reservation**
The home is stocked with a starter supply of paper products and toiletries to get going, but it is recommended that you bring or purchase more to last for the duration of your stay. Linens and towels are provided at no additional charge.
