Summary:

Trollhaugen Lodge is a standalone 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath house on a quiet residential court near Central Park Plaza, about half a mile from the Steamboat ski base. It sleeps 16: there are beds for 10, plus air mattresses for 6 more. There are two king suites, a queen Murphy bed and a bunk room. The living room is on the second floor and has mountain views. There's a 2-car garage for cars and ski gear, and the free city bus (Purple line) runs to the base.



The Space:

Second floor: the Great Hall (living room) with mountain views, opening to the dining room and a kitchen with a large pantry and breakfast bar. There's also a laundry room.

Sleeping arrangements (sleeps 16):

– Bedroom 1: King suite with en-suite bath (jetted tub), walk-in closet and private deck

– Bedroom 2: Queen Murphy bed

– Bedroom 3: King suite with en-suite bath, desk and patio

– Bunk room: Full-over-queen bunk bed

– Air mattresses: sleeping space for 6 more guests

Bathrooms: 3 full and 1 half. The third full bath and the half bath are shared.

Also: fireplace, sound system, bikes, high chair, pack 'n play and Wi-Fi.

Outside: back deck with a grill, a backyard with Adirondack chairs, and a patio and deck on the base side. The 2-car garage has room for ski gear.



Guest Access:

You'll have the whole house: every bedroom, the Great Hall, kitchen, laundry room, decks, patio, backyard and 2-car garage. Your garage door code is the last 4 digits of the booker's phone number, and we'll send it again the morning of check-in. The front door keys are inside with the garage door opener. Please leave all keys when you check out. There's a $20 fee for each key not returned. Parking is the 2-car garage plus the driveway, maximum 4 vehicles. Trash and recycling bins are in the garage.



The Neighborhood:

Trollhaugen Lodge is on a quiet residential court near the Steamboat ski area and Central Park Plaza, about half a mile from the base. Restaurants, shops, groceries and après-ski spots are a few minutes away, and downtown Steamboat's hot springs, galleries and the Yampa River trails are a short drive.



Getting Around:

The ski base is about half a mile away on foot. You can also take the free city bus: the Purple line runs from the Meadows Parking Lot stop to the ski base. The RouteShout 2.0 app has schedules and live tracking, and the bus also goes downtown and to the grocery stores. Parking is the 2-car garage plus the driveway, maximum 4 vehicles.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

House rules: minimum renter age is 24, quiet hours are 9 PM to 9 AM, and the maximum is 4 vehicles. Trash and recycling go in the bins in the garage.

We rent Trollhaugen Lodge only 6 times a year.

For guest safety, this home has a noise level monitor (no audio recording) and exterior cameras covering the garage door keypad and the backyard patio. There are no cameras inside the home.
