Great stay. However , don’t expect a hotel. It is literally a few rooms above a pub. There is no reception. That said we received a very warm welcome from the bar staff who showed us the room .
The entrance to the rooms is literally a corridor by the kitchen.
The rooms were the suprise.Very pretty , a vintage feel. Warm and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable and the room was a good size. Great coffee machine.
Bathroom was ok. Shower was a bit mouldy but nothing to worry about.
Lots of clean towels.
No breakfast was available which was a shame and you would think something could have been put on in the dining room but ……
Overall for one night it was a pleasant stay.
No breakfast offer.
The hallways smelt of food cooking.
Bathroom had mould around it.
Plug sockets in odd places .

The staff, food and choice of food were excellent
Waiting 2 hours for our evening meal but the staff made up for it by doing an early breakfast. So overall I can not grumble

The people were friendly and helpful. The sheets and towels were clean.
There was a kettle but no cups were provided so we couldn’t use it. The carpets on the stair and in the room were badly needing replaced.
