Walnut Beach Resort

The heated pool and hot tubs where great. We were able to enjoy them in spite of the unusual rain and cooler weather during our stay. The on site restaurant was also good with fresh salad, generous portions and good service. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the kitchenette was nice to have and stocked with sufficient cookware and dinnerware for our stay. There is a nice biking / walking path along the lakeshore and even into town if desired.

There was really nothing to complain about.

Nice pool with great view. The rooms had good, controllable AC. Beds were comfortable.

The floor in the room was very dirty and left our feet black. They need to be washed (tile only) daily. There are rules to follow at the pool (no outside alcohol, no reserving loungers, no pool toys) but staff don't enforce the rules very well to the detriment of others. Very loud pool with screaming/crying kids, which is understandable for a family hotel, just be aware. The hotel staff wouldn't help with altering reservation dates made on Booking.com and Booking.com wouldn't help with contacting the hotel. Very frustrating!
