Great location, very clean, very comfortable bed!

We love the location and main general areas of the hotel - terrace, lobby, pool, restaurant. We had a lovely afternoon snack on the terrace - while we initially waited to be noticed, once the manager and colleague who were meeting on the terrace notified the wait staff, we were promptly served and enjoyed our food and wine in the beautiful setting.
This time we had booked a 1 bedroom suite, with pullout couch for my daughter. The room felt dark; the window coverings were difficult to manage; there were no amenities in bathroom - we were only staying one night this time so wasn't a big deal but I wouldn't book it again. The individual rooms that we had booked before were much nicer. Also, we booked dinner that evening in the restaurant - the food was fine but the service definitely needs some improvement. Apparently, they were short staffed that evening but it seems that the waitstaff is very young and not as customer focused as they could be - we waited quite some time to be seated with no one at the host station; we were made to feel that we annoyed the hostess when we asked to be seated on the terrace (as we had requested in our booking) - we were a party of three and were told that there were only two seat tables available - an empty corner table could have been used if there was a flexible attitude. We watched tables being wiped and set while we waited patiently for our water and wine to be served. We waited a long time for our entrees. Just an overall feeling that some more professional coordination/customer focus could make this a much more enjoyable dining experience in such a lovely setting.

Right from the front desk as we arrived offered us cider and to help us anyway they could to make our stay pleasant.

We stayed in Villa 102 as the Oceanview twin room we booked overlooked the pool and restaurant. The staff, particularly Sara, was very accommodating. The 2 bedroom villa was very large with excellent, high end bathrooms, furniture and kitchen.
