Reception was friendly
The room very small, the bath very small not for adults, who needs bath , a walking shower is much more preferred. The area of the free coffee in the lobby was very messy and the coffee undrinkabel..

room was lovely and the gym was great too
the breakfast was a bit of an issue for me. I had gone down at 8am to find that the breakfast wasn't open. I'm not sure how it differs in Canada but in the UK if breakfast starts at 8am it will all be open at 8am. I waited 15 minutes until deciding to go out for breakfast somewhere else.

I booked and pre-paid my stay with booking.com. However, the hotel front desk staff said they couldn't find our reservation despite the booking confirmation email I showed them. After a lengthy delay, they were able to find my reservation in booking.com's system, but still not in Best Western's system. The front desk staff proceeded to create a paid "dummy" reservation in BW's system so they could check us in, only to be told by their manager (on the phone) to scrap the dummy reservation. At one point, it appeared that they were going to tell me that they didn't have a room for us. They were able to finally check us in after taking the info from my credit card and driver's license. The whole "rollercoast" process lasted over 30 minutes.
