Quite simply, one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in, and without question the best hotel of our Canadian trip!
Everything about the Fairmont Tremblant was fantastic. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm and attentive, and the service was impeccable throughout. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable and perfectly situated overlooking the ski slopes and the gorgeous pedestrianised village.
The outdoor heated pool was wonderful, the beds were ridiculously comfortable, and the room service was so good we ordered it two nights running! Breakfast was delicious, and a special mention to Sebastian in the breakfast room, who was an absolute delight.
What really stood out was how welcome they made our five-year-old feel. The lovely gentleman on reception treated him like a little VIP, offering him hot chocolate on arrival and his very own robe. In fact, every time our son returned to reception, the same lovely man would give him another complimentary hot chocolate! It became one of the highlights of his entire trip, and he absolutely loved it. Such a small gesture, but one that made a huge impression on him, and on us.
There was also a brilliant children’s games room with Mario Kart and Jenga, plus a hotel treasure hunt with a prize at the end. Such thoughtful touches.
For the adults, little conveniences like Chromecast in the bedroom and guest laundry facilities on our floor made everything wonderfully easy. We’d missed the laundry collection one morning, but housekeeping immediately offered a practical alternative, with detergent available at reception. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
Every interaction with the staff, whether reception, housekeeping, breakfast or room service, was genuinely lovely. It’s rare to find a hotel that gets absolutely everything right, but the Fairmont Tremblant really did.
Our first Fairmont experience, and hopefully the first of many.

The only positive aspect of this hotel was its location.
The hotel’s location was excellent, but unfortunately, several aspects of our stay fell short of our expectations.
We had specifically requested a quiet room, yet both rooms overlooked the parking lot, and one was strangely located directly behind the elevator. We were woken up at dawn by a car alarm, followed by loud noises from the room above us early in the morning.
A simple request for an extra blanket turned into an unnecessarily complicated process, requiring two visits to reception and several attempts by housekeeping.
Breakfast was also disappointing considering the price. We were seated at an uncomfortable table right next to a busy doorway, and despite requesting another table, we were not moved. My omelette was not what I had ordered, and even a cappuccino was not included in the already expensive breakfast.
Overall, while the hotel was not bad, the service felt somewhat disorganized, and several details were overlooked. We simply expected a more attentive and polished experience from a hotel of this standard.
