The room was very nicely decorated, nicer than usual, clean and comfortable, although somewhat smaller than usual.
Unfortunately, there was a very heavy rain storm that afternoon and the main floor of the hotel was flooded, along with the attached Denny's. However, both soldiered on, mopped up and relocated those guests. Luckily we were on the fourth floor so were only marginally affected. We did not use the pool.

The staff member who checked us in, Junard, greeted us with a smile. He was easy to talk to and looked like he enjoyed his job. Most of the time now, in hotels, I would see tired or fed-up staff
The hotel layout is confusing, almost like a maze, with hallways that make it hard to find your way around. The low ceilings add to the discomfort and make the space feel suffocating. We left a sign requesting our room to be cleaned, but when we returned, nothing had been done. For all three days of our stay, we were disturbed by constant running and stomping from the room above us. To make things worse, both the TV and the phone line in our room weren’t working.
