The Lobstick is a functional hotel with a kitchenette. It was comfortable and large room. The town is not very large and you can easily walk to downtown. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, we got nice recommendations for dinner. There is not air conditioning, but the temperatures drop in the evening and the cools down opening the window (with mosquito nets). It was quiet and a good place to be based for all the exploring of this beautiful Park. Easy parking and easy to access main roads to Pyramid lakes, Lake Annette, Edith and Beauvert, SKy Tram and the Icefield Parkway. Although breakfast was not included, there was a cafe in the reception that served coffee and muffins from early on.

Dated rooms (but no surprise, just like in the pictures and rooms are very clean). Beds were soft, which we found quite common in Canada.

Good basic lodging. would have liked for the hair dryer to be able to plug into an outlet in room rather than have it attached to wall. Staff was incredibly friendly and everything was super clean. Very small fridge, FYI.

Very dated decor , could hear all the noise from neighbouring rooms …carpets 😞
