The Westin Calgary was a great option to stay overnight when coming from Banff prior to leaving Canada. Staff was welcoming and very helpful with great recommendations. We had dinner in one of the restaurants within the hotel and food was really good and healthy options, and super lovely staff. Good breakfast included.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Best bed we have had in Canada (not too soft). The indoor swimming pool in the rooftop is a great bonus. There was an easy option for paying parking.

For a four star place… it needs some TLC. Our room was a little worse for wear. Toilet that won’t stop running if the flush handle comes loose. The shampoo and conditioner repeatedly falling off the shower wall. The lock on the bathroom door being broken off. The bathroom door getting stuck closed (thank god I wasn’t alone bc I could not get out myself) due to poor door tracks. The outlet in the bathroom stopped working about 30 seconds into using it. Scratchy towels.
Not worth the cost for the state of the room. The nice quality of the pool area does not match the lacking quality of the room.
