Horseshoe Bay is super cute. The motel is walkable to the town.
There were only decorative pillows on the bed. And they were horrible.

Great location if you are taking an early ferry! It's right in front of the terminal, and I felt safe walking around even in the evening.
I arrived before check-in time, but the staff kindly let me into my room early since it was ready. I really appreciate their flexibility.
The only downside was the thin walls. I could hear the TV and talking from the next room past midnight, which made it a bit hard to sleep.
Setting a quiet hours policy might help. Also, there was no hair dryer in the room.
